This role is to support the Assistant Estates Management Officer, Estates Management Officers and Estates Management Team Leader in achieving the council’s priorities and objectives. In this role you will be the lead officer for all administrative duties for the Estates Management Team and assist in dealing with voids, initial reports of anti-social behaviour and nuisance on the estate and ensuring the council’s estates are well managed and maintained.
You will support the Estates Management officers in all administrative aspects of tenancy enforcement and safety and maintenance of estates. Included in this will be tenancy fraud issues and community matters, along with the operation and promotion of customer care practices and sustainable tenure. You will provide a high quality and pro-active administrative support to the team.
The successful person will be an advocate of our strong customer values, demonstrating an inclusive and engaging style of working, and able to work collaboratively to deliver clear outcomes, designed to enhance the customer service we provide.

You should have the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure and in volatile situations.
Ideally you will be educated to ‘O’ Level /GCSE standard, but equally important are the skills you already have and the experience you can bring to the role, alongside your willingness to learn and adapt to changing demands. You will be required to effectively manage your time and it is essential that you have access to a vehicle for the purposes of work and the required level of business insurance.
