This post is based in the Housing Adaptation and Improvements Team.
The team works with and provides advice to adults, families of disabled children and the general public. The team administers the mandatory Disabled Facilities Grant and a range of discretionary grant and loan products to repair and improve housing and energy efficiency.
The team also investigates complaints relating to housing conditions, public health and empty properties across all tenures.
We are looking for a flexible individual who has demonstrable practical experience in Environmental Health or Housing and has a good written and verbal communication skills.
