Assessment Service Care Planning Service In Croydon our Children's Services are on an energetic change journey, with new management, innovative approaches and considerable pace. We have made a great start, and are now looking for Assistant Team Managers for both our Assessment and Care Planning service. These new roles are already part of the Assessment Service and we are now introducing them into our Care Planning and Adolescent Services.
We are looking for passionate social workers who are ready to take the next step in their social work career. Working with Team Managers, you will supervise up to four team members and support your Team Manager to lead an outstanding service to children and young people.

To be considered for theses posts, it is essential that you have a proven record of delivering high quality services for vulnerable children and young people. It is also a pre-requisite that you possess experience in a statutory children’s social care setting and have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of legislative framework, relevant research and national developments, and policies relating to children’s social care.
You will have had experience of supervising practitioners, either social work students or other qualified staff and have the skills and experience to supervise.
With a salary up to £47,511 and a welcome and a recruitment package of £8,000 (paid within 20 months - for locums and new external candidates).
