We have an exciting part time opportunity for a passionate Customer Services Advisor based at Tonbridge Gateway, located within the grounds of Tonbridge Castle:
Tonbridge Gateway offer a multi-agency service to customers of Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, Kent County Council services, and a range of partners from the public and voluntary sectors.
Reporting to the Gateway Manager, you will undertake a customer facing role for enquiries related to Customer Services, Gateway, and tourist information.
Educated to GCSE grade C standard or above in maths and English, you will have previous experience of providing a customer focussed, front-line, public enquiry service. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and demonstrate confident IT skills.
There is a lot to learn, so you must be prepared to assimilate and retain a large amount of information quickly and demonstrate a “can-do” approach to your work. In return we will give you ongoing training and support.
Your normal hours of work will be 17.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 11:00 – 14:30 3.5hrs a day, however our offices are open seven days a week so you will be expected to work some weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
