Thurrock Council is developing, redefining and transforming its Digital services in line with global advances. Our ICT team are championing digital change & with this vision in mind, we have introduced the Technology Consultant - Business Engagement.

About the Role:

As a Technology Consultant - Business Engagement, you will enjoy leading this new service in a innovative direction. You will help to introduce a new way of thinking and partnership between the different services of the Council and the ICT Department. As the Subject Matter Expert, you will work to ensure that the technologies in your services are appropriate for their success and increase efficiencies.

In your role as a Technology Consultant, you will have previous experience in:

  • Problem-solving client technical issues
  • Being in a client-facing role, assessing service needs and implementing systems within product restrictions and engagement contracts
  • Identify gaps, steering course to implement whilst awaiting developments
