Rowan Park School is an outstanding Special School, which has maintained “Outstanding” Status for the past four inspections. In May 2015, the School was awarded Teaching School status.
The School has a main site which caters for children and young people aged 3 to 19 years with severe/complex learning difficulties and currently has 138 pupils on roll. It also has additional sites - Rowan High School, which caters for young people aged 11 - 19 years and The Rowan Tree (opened in September 2019), which caters for Reception and Year 1 pupils. Pupils at Rowan High School and The Rowan Tree all have a diagnosis of autism.
Due to the recent promotion of a Class Teacher, the Governors are now looking to appoint a Classroom Teacher for Rowan Park School. We are looking for a Teacher who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about improving outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will demonstrate commitment and be a highly effective classroom practitioner.

The interview process will take place over two stages. The first stage will be the requirement to undertake a lesson observation. If you are successful at this stage, you will be invited back for interview.
