Mole Valley Telecare within Mole Valley Life provides members of the community; principally, but not exclusively, elderly and disabled people, with a variety of solutions to help enable them to remain living safely and independently at home. Providing help at the touch of a button 24 hours a day for 365 days of the year, Mole Valley District Council’s (MVDC) telecare service provides independence, security and peace of mind in the home.
About the role
Mole Valley District Council has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Leader who enjoys working in a busy environment providing the coordination of the Telecare Alarm Receiving Centre.
You will work alongside the Monitoring and Response Operations Manager and Team Leader colleagues to provide day to day operational management to meet and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). With the ability to provide strong, clear leadership and motivate your team, you will deliver support and leadership for the Telecare Operators, including call handling, staff training for new operators and assisting with the delivery of ongoing refresher training, ensuring day to day operational management.
You will be responsible for ensuring that you follow operations, Microsoft and ICT systems for managing people, to support co-ordination of the daily activities associated with all services being delivered through Mole Valley Life such as:
o OOH’s call handling contracts
o TECS/community alarm call handling
o Lone Worker
Whilst offering the best possible services for customers.
The post is based in Leatherhead, although there may be limited travel in Surrey, The Council offers excellent conditions of service and a friendly working environment
