You will have the opportunity to contribute fully to the team’s key commitments to local residents and businesses in relation to food safety, health and safety at work and public health complainants from commercial premises. Whilst your workload will be predominantly ensuring compliance with food hygiene and food standards requirements you will be encouraged to act as the lead officer for various activities, primary authority partnerships and projects as well as contributing to our work on promoting healthy eating and allergen awareness.
Due to the nature of the job we will only consider applicants who meet the baseline qualification requirements for an authorised officer specified in the Food Standard Agency Food Law Code of Practice (England) Section 4.4.
