Halton Borough Council is proud of its open spaces and is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced horticulturist to lead and manage a team within its Parks Section.

Working across a range of award winning public spaces, you will provide day-to-day management and motivation to a team of front line maintenance staff, delivering landscape maintenance activity in the Borough's public parks, waterside promenades, local nature reserves and cemeteries.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:00, Friday 08:00-15:30; and one weekend in every six.

You will possess relevant land based industry qualifications to a minimum of level 3; with a higher level horticultural qualification and management training being a distinct advantage.
