Therapist Practice Manager - Supporting Care Team
Full Time Permanent Occupational
£42,681 - £45,585 pa Plus £3,000 Market Supplement
As an Occupational Therapy Practice Manager you will be a key member of the OT management structure and play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality, high performing, progressive and innovative OT services across the Assessment and Care Management pathway. You will be based in the Supporting Care Team but will be required to be flexible in this role, offering advice, supervision and input across the wider Adult Social Care pathway as and when required. As Occupational Therapists we have a strong focus on supporting customers to maximise their independence and safety in their home environment; supporting them to regain choice and control - key to promoting the prevention agenda. We offer a personalised, asset-based approach with our customers and carers at the heart of decision-making.
You will be an Occupational Therapist who is forward thinking, highly motivated with a strong desire to deliver high quality interventions and display a positive "can do" approach. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will inspire others and be essential to your successful appointment, helping you build internal and external relationships essential to bring about positive outcomes for our customers. You will require experience of working in Adult Social Care, management experience and up-to-date knowledge of relevant best practice, legislation, guidance and regulations.
In turn we will support your development and offer on-going learning and development opportunities together with regular supervision and performance appraisal. Our monthly OT Peer Learning is a supportive forum to enable you share and learn together with your peers.
