Working in a team which deals with the billing and collection of council tax, you will assist with the maintenance, updating and reviewing of council tax accounts, deal with some aspects of Direct Debits and carry out the more routine tasks within the section, including scanning and indexing incoming post and emails using the electronic document management system.
You will be both literate and numerate, be able to demonstrate a commitment to customer care, possess sound IT skills and have a good understanding of Word and Excel. The ability to work accurately to deadlines is essential.
The successful applicant will be required to work 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.
