We are looking for two dynamic and professional new team members to match the pace of our busy office and busy (virtual) school environment.
The Hertfordshire Virtual School is not a teaching institution but a way of bringing together the information about children and young people who are looked after as if they were in a single school; ensuring that children and young people have the best possible education and every chance to realise their potential.
Both roles are within the Data & Support Team which provides administrative support and project management to Virtual School colleagues and a wide variety of stakeholders. We are looking for experienced administrators who:
- have a good work ethic, are team players and have a can-do attitude
- have excellent customer service and communication skills
- can work under pressure, with competing deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail
- are competent and confident using Microsoft Office programs
- are curious and eager to learn new skills
Although not essential, this role would suit someone with knowledge of working in a school environment.
Senior Admin Support Officer (Salary range: £20,344 to £24,799)
This role will support the Virtual School Head and Senior Leadership Team. The role will include diary management, organising and minuting meetings, coordinating new projects and undertaking confidential and sensitive support such as HR administration as directed by the Virtual School Head. There is a requirement to travel to meetings that are held at various county-wide venues.
Admin Support Officer (Salary range: £18,795 to £20,344)
This role will be the first point of contact for the Virtual School, responsible for event and training course coordination, and provide administrative support to other team and Virtual School colleagues.
* Hours: 37 a week (term time/flexible working may be considered)
In return we can offer you excellent pension and progression benefits whilst working for an organisation that values its employees and invests in training and career development opportunities.
