Environmental Services, Licensing and Community Safety
Full time – 37 hours per week, Permanent Contract
Up to £22,152 per annum plus £2,907 per annum car allowance
Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience
An opportunity to work across the beautiful countryside of Rother and Wealden, including the towns of Bexhill, Crowborough, Hailsham and Rye; working with the community, our partners in the police and social landlords, responding to anti-social behaviour and pollution incidents.
The successful applicant must enjoy working with the public, have excellent communication skills, have the ability to carry out effective enforcement, including the issuing of community protection notices and fixed penalty notices.
The post holder would be expected to work alone, frequently outside office hours. Consideration will be given to applicants suitable to undertake an apprenticeship as a Regulatory Compliance Officer or other relevant training as identified.
