We are looking for a Sales Officer to take this business area (within the Environment Division) to the next level by selling the Councils Commercial Waste Services to businesses within the borough. This is an opportunity to join us at an exciting time and be part of a small, friendly team.
As well as approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business, you will also be working to maintain good relationships with existing clients. Working in the busy commercial Services Team, you will be responsible for increasing the council's market share of the Commercial Waste Service, this will involve proactively engaging with businesses across the borough.
The post holders will need to meet sales targets, record data collected from business visits, assist with contract queries and resolution and to ensure that all commercial waste issues are progressed and resolved effectively and in good time.
