We are looking for a dynamic, customer focused individual who can engage with members of the public.
Main duties of the role include:
To assess and analyse applications for certificate reproduction, input data accurately and check other data including manual records.
To be in contact with all members of the public, staff of the Medway Registration District, staff of Medway Council and staff of the General Register Office in order to ensure compliance with statutory procedures and provide the best possible service to customers.
To maintain accurate electronic and paper records to meet organisational needs.
To assist with the smooth running of the Registration Services on a day to day basis, helping to create an environment and structure that provides excellent customer service.
Support the work of other staff during periods of absence or unusually high volumes of work to maintain the efficient provision of administrative services.
Daily cash handling and reconciliation relating to considerable financial amounts (up to £1,000 per day).
There is a high possibility the role will advance for the post holder to register in-house marriage ceremonies during working hours.
