The Information team is looking to recruit to a post attached specifically to the Troubled Families programme for North East Lincolnshire Council. This programme works to a financial framework set by the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government. The post is fixed term to 31/03/2020 and is offered on a full time (37 hour) basis.
Technical Professional Adviser
The successful post holder will play a leading role in the development of systems and operational processes to gather and collate data; develop reporting for a variety of audiences; undertake data analysis and research relating to the Troubled Families programme. You will lead on the completion of accurate returns, including financial claims, to government.
Together with the existing Technical Professional Officer, service representatives and partners you will be working to identify families meeting the Troubled Families criteria. This role includes the requirement to audit case file details to ensure that returns to government are valid.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of council partners, relevant to the Troubled Families programme, and experience of building and maintaining partner relationships. They will need to have excellent technical analysis skills and practical experience of co-ordinating complex data from multiple sources. They should have good practical knowledge of key IT systems relevant to children and families and of Early Help or children’s social care work in North East Lincolnshire.
