We believe all children and young people in East Sussex deserve the chance to reach their full potential and we are looking for a new Lead Manager for Post 16 and Independent Non-Maintained Schools (INMS) to help us achieve our vision.
This is a key role in the Inclusion Special Educational Needs & Disability (ISEND) Service in Children's Services. You will lead the overarching approach to Post 16 and INMS provision for children and young people with additional and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This will include the strategic approach to the placement, evaluation and review of provision ensuring that the Local Authority secures best value for money as well as delivering the very best outcomes for children and young people with SEND, including a good transition into adulthood.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative and exciting area of SEND and make a real difference for children and young people in our county. This is the ideal post for an experienced and passionate education professional with a strong track record of driving and delivering improvements at both strategic and operational levels. We would especially welcome applications from people who have experience in leading provision for learners within the Further Education sector.
