Key Responsibilities:
The Community Engagement Coordinator Secondment role , reporting to the Programme Manager is a part-time position (4 days a week) with the following key duties:

This role is subject to safer recruitment practices as it involves work with children and/ or vulnerable adults;
Satisfactory DBS check;

- Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, local businesses, and nonprofits to expand learning opportunities and build vibrant community networks.
- Promote inclusive, learning opportunities tailored to local needs, with a focus on engaging priority groups and widening participation
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop initiatives that enhance our curriculum and increase community participation.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for joint initiatives and innovative programs that expand and enrich our curriculum.
- Represent our service at outreach and promotional events, effectively raising awareness and signposting to our learning offer.
- Showcase our community impact through excellent IT and communication skills, documenting impactful stories, outcomes, and insights.
- Good verbal communication skills; be able to liaise professionally with a range of internal and external stakeholders across the borough.
- Offer a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent or extensive experience
- English and Math Qualification GCSE or FS L2
- Evidence of CPD
