Specific job details
You will work closely with Community Engagement team and other Council employees by providing a range of social initiatives, action plans and or strategies relevant to local residents in neighbourhoods of the borough of Woking.
This position will include planning, developing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating engagement initiatives determined by the Council. These initiatives will be applied by using asset based community development (ABCD) as well as other community engagement/development strategies, working in partnership with key agencies and local people.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
As this job involves contact with vulnerable groups including children, successful applicants will be required to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Assistance will be given by the Council and further details will be in the job application pack.
