Runnymede Borough Council is looking for someone who can hit the ground running in the busy role of Communications and Web Officer.
The role will involve dealing with a range of corporate communications activities, with a focus on media relations and creating strong professional relationships within each of the services that Runnymede provides. The role also requires someone capable of supporting the continued development of the council’s digital communications as part of a team of three.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with good understanding of best practice for communications, good working knowledge of web based technologies, developments and trends. This role will also include copywriting and proofreading, so a creative mind and good eye for detail is essential. An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines is also a must.
This role is ideal for someone who would like to develop their skills within communications and web.
