About the role
We are looking for a motivated and capable person, ideally with elections experience, to join our small but busy Electoral Services Team.Working in electoral services puts you at the heart of local democracy in a fast-paced, varied and unique area of work.
You will be involved in all aspects of Electoral Services from supporting our electorate in registration processes, to delivering fair and transparent elections of all types.
It’s an exciting role and one that has opportunities for progression as skills and experience are developed.
About you
In this role, you will bring great customer service experience, strong computer literacy and ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds, including persons at a senior level and members of the public. You will have the ability to deal with confidential information in an appropriate manner.
These talents, allied to your experience and/or knowledge of electoral processes, will allow you to hit the ground running as we prepare for major elections in May 2025 and beyond.

In electoral services, we are driven by immoveable deadlines, meaning that sometimes we must work evenings and weekends. Holidays cannot be taken at certain times of the year when we are preparing and delivering elections.
