We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable Casual Event Staff to join our teams, helping us deliver exceptional experiences at both venues.
About the Role:
As a member of our Casual Event Staff, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring events run smoothly at Somerset Hall and The Campus. Responsibilities include setting up and dismantling event spaces, assisting with catering and bar services, handling cash transactions, welcoming guests, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for events
- Assist with bar and catering services, including handling cash and card transactions
- Provide a warm welcome and friendly service to all guests
- Ensure the venue is clean, safe, and presentable at all times
- Follow health and safety guidelines and support with emergency procedures if needed
About You:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous experience in hospitality or events is an advantage but not essential—training will be provided
- Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting and moving equipment
