An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Asbestos Surveyor to join our busy Compliance team within the Housing and Investment division.
The main part of your duties will include managing and undertaking the ‘Management’ and ‘Demolition and Refurbishment’ asbestos surveys and taking samples for the Councils’ stock of around 7000 residential garages, and other buildings. This will also include recording the data and completing the asbestos register and overseeing actions identified in the register and other associated works, ensuring that the work has been completed satisfactorly.
To be the successful candidate you will have extensive knowledge of UK legislation and best practice relating to asbestos and hold BHOS P402 or equivilant qualification.
Excellent communication and Customer Care skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload along with good knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages is essential, as is an ability to attend meetings and site visits.
