Are you passionate about bringing construction projects to life from the ground up? We're looking for a skilledConstructionManagerto oversee and coordinate every phase of exciting building projects, working closely with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure successful delivery.
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for supervising and directing operations on-site, coordinating trades and contractors to keep everything on track and in line with the project plan. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the project progresses smoothly, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in green architecture, compliance with the Building Act of 1984, and skill in resolving construction disputes through mediation and arbitration. They can manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with other Construction Managers to meet deadlines. Well-versed in construction technologies, methods, and current building codes, they interpret contracts, blueprints, and technical drawings with ease. Strong analytical skills support their expertise in cost management, material procurement, and waste disposal. Proficient in specialised industry software for cost-estimating and inventory management, they possess excellent communication skills to lead diverse teams and explain complex technical details. Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015, construction technology, management, health and safety, CIOB standards, and NEBOSH qualifications is essential.
