The Oaks Academy have a vacancy for a new Design & Technology Technician. To provide support for the Art, Design and Technology department. This will include material preparation, machine maintenance and student mentoring.
Our Technicians work alongside the class teacher to deliver high quality learning experiences in the workshop and classrooms for students. They also use their initiative and are proactive in supporting individual pupils across the class. High expectations for all the children are essential. The role requires effective communication and teamwork skills. In addition, successful candidates must be committed to all aspects of school life.
Hours: 5 hours per week
Weeks: term time only (38 weeks per year)
Actual salary for hours and weeks worked: £2,584 - £2,627
