We are looking to appoint a Parking Debt Recovery Officer to work within the Revenue Services Department (Income Collection & Enforcement Team), dealing with the recovery and enforcement of parking penalty charge notices.
This role is part-time 17.5 hours per week (may be compressed to two and a half days depending on service needs, 9-5pm)
Key Responsibilities
You will join our busy team dealing with large numbers of emails, telephone calls and letters. You will be responsible for the enforcement after charge certificate stage, exercising appropriate judgement ad discretion when handling matters.
Your tasks will include scanning incoming post, preparing Orders for Recovery and Warrants of Control, working with external enforcement agents in the collection of outstanding penalty charge notices and the day to day management of cases in line with the parking recovery process.
Requirements
Ideally you will have experience in Parking Debt Recovery and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge on the processes involved from the issuance of a PCN. Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills will be needed to help you to manage your busy and varied workload. Experience of the Taranto system is desirable.
