In this influential role, you'll be part of the Luton Rising team, where your expertise will help shape and maximise the airport's contributions to the Luton 2040 vision. Working closely with the airport operator, you'll provide professional advice to boost social value and sustainability efforts, aligning airport operations with the community's needs and supporting long-term, sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing high-value, multi-stakeholder projects and has a strong track record of partnering with diverse organisations-from public and private sectors to community groups-to drive impactful transformations and benefit both shareholders and the community. They demonstrate effective leadership, influencing without formal authority and building productive relationships across all organisational levels. Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making, the candidate can develop practical solutions and positively impact decisions. They possess financial management capabilities and are commercially aware, balancing costs, profits, and added value. Professionally qualified or with equivalent experience in the aviation or business sector, the candidate understands both landside and airside operations, including relevant regulatory requirements.
