We are recruiting a Youth and Leisure Managerat Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Location: Trinity Fields School and Resource Centre

Team: Trinity Fields Special School and Physical Disability and Sensory Impairment

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.

We pay an attractive salary of £39,152 - £41,771 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, child centred individual to become a registered manager in line with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) national minimum standards, for our leisure and play services for children with complex disabilities.

The scheme operates outside of school hours at Trinity Fields School, it is a collaboration between Social Services and Education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, management of staff, resources and health and safety for the service.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • A relevant Level 4 or 5 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales to meet requirements to register with Care Inspectorate Wales.
  • Knowledge on child protection and safeguarding issues.
  • Extensive experience of working with children and young people with severe and complex learning difficulties.
