KS1 Teaching Assistant required-8.30am-3.15pm
30 hour week contract– BGK scp 3 - £13.23ph term time only
Would consider Part-time – mornings or afternoons
Temporary in the first instance to July 2026
Required as soon as possible
We are looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant
- To work supporting the class teacher in the delivery of learning activities for individuals or groups of children and to supervise the children during their lunch break
- Who can take a lead role in learning activities as set and supported by the class teacher
- Who is able to keep accurate records of children’s progress and complete observations if required
- To support in the delivery of an appropriate curriculum to primary aged children developing, extending and monitoring their learning
- That are flexible, creative and enthusiastic Support Assistants with experience of working with children
- Who is committed to supporting the physical and emotional wellbeing of all children irrespective of need
- With good communication skills and an ability to engage with young children
