    About the role

    Obelisk House provides exceptional levels of support in residential and Dementia care.

    It is situated in a residential suburb in Northampton and it offers a wonderful living environment in which our residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.

    We have teams of friendly and committed staff who provide the highest level of dementia care and residential care.

    With our great accommodation and facilities and a programme of activities, our care home evoke a home from home atmosphere in which our residents can feel comfortable, content and very well cared for.

    We’re looking for caring, dependable people who want to make a real difference. Experience isn’t essential — your attitude is.

    You’ll need:

    • A kind, compassionate and patient nature
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Reliability and a willingness to learn
    • A respectful and positive approach to supporting others
    • The ability to work days and some weekends
    • A passion for helping people feel safe, valued and independent

    Experience in care is desirable, but full training and support will be provided.

    Unfortunately, this role does not meet the requirements for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. We are unable to accept applications from individuals currently on full-time sponsorship looking for either a second job or a new main sponsored role.

    This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Children and Adults Barred List check.
