
Applications and Development Support Officer
This Applications & Development Support Officer posts sits in our Applications Team within the Technology & Innovation service where you will be supporting applications with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Working with colleagues, our suppliers, and with our partner agencies you’ll deliver real value adding solutions.

The team are responsible for managing the applications support and system development of business-critical applications and you’ll have exposure to systems in key functions such as Adult Social Care, Children’s Social Care, Children’s Education and Revenues & Benefits.
The role will also play a key part for designing, configuring, and maintaining the authority’s SharePoint Online platform to support effective collaboration and information management across departments.
We’d love to hear from you if you demonstrate a strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, features, and functionality, including security and compliance best practices.
We’re ideally looking for a candidate who can display the level 4 criteria within the specification provided and starting salary is negotiable within the range provided based on skill and experience.
We currently operate a hybrid working approach where you’ll have access to Westgate (our main town centre office), various outreach buildings and the opportunity to work from home. We operate a 37-hour working week on a flexi-time scheme (7am and 7pm) and coordinate with one another to maintain a level of service cover between the hours of 9am - 5pm Mon – Thurs and 9am - 4.30pm on Fridays.

Salary range
