An exciting opportunity is available to join Walsall Integrated Young People Support Services’ (IYPSS) and contribute to the development of Positive Activities and youth work across Walsall. Walsall IYPSS is service joins up our Positive Activities, Targeted Youth Support, Information Advice and Guidance and Youth Justice Services. We are striving to deliver the best possible services to and with young people of Walsall.
IYPSS – Positive Activities team deliver services for young people aged 9-19 which support locality partnership working
The successful applicant will:
- Take responsibility for the development and delivery of positive activities accessible to all young people within a specific Area Partnership locality.
- Take responsibility for the provision of additional support for our vulnerable young people to access IYPSS services.
- Require to involve, and listen to the voice of, young people and to actively engage young people in decision making.
- Require to work effectively with a wide range of partners and key colleagues.
- Require to work 3 evenings and one weekend session.
We are looking to appoint highly motivated workers with a proven track record in addressing young people’s issues and who clearly understand the requirements of Positive Activities, integrated and Targeted Youth Support. You will require someone who has flair, credibility and integrity to join our team. You will have a track record of delivering successful outcomes for children and young people, ensuring levels of quality and performance are maintained and improved.
