Our Youth Service is setting the professional pace with a constant stream of imaginative ideas and fresh initiatives. We now need self motivated people with a genuine interest in supporting young people to join us on a part-time basis.
Successful applicants will be based at Youth Projects in the Gravesham area, undertaking various deliveries of youth work including detached, centre-based, outreach and specialist work with young people.
Your work will include working with a diverse range of young people aged 11 – 25, delivering a variety of curriculum based activities and opportunities.
Your ability to understand and communicate effectively with young people in the 11 -25 age group, alongside knowledge of issues affecting young people today is essential. Previous experience of working with young people or community groups would be useful.
You must be able to work weekends, after school and evening hours and we are especially interested in applicants who can demonstrate the following skills;
• Sports
• Outdoor pursuits
• Information, Advice and Guidance
• Dance
• Art
• Music
