Our Youth Service is developing many new approaches to our work with Young People with a constant stream of imaginative ideas and fresh initiatives. We now need someone with a genuine interest in supporting young people to join us on a part time basis (3 hours a week in the evenings).
Based at an established Youth Centre, you’ll use your excellent interpersonal skills to engage young people in fun and constructive activities, a degree of flexibility is always required in Youth Work. Comprehensive Training opportunities are offered throughout your time with The Kent Youth Service.
Your ability to understand and communicate effectively with young people in the 11 – 25 age group will be important. A willingness to get beside young people and encourage them is vital and your hobbies may also be of equal use, whether you are a keen sports person, artist, dancer or musician.
