Woodville Work Activity Centre improves people’s horticulture and land based skills through undertaking practical work activities. A wide range of people including young people aged 14 to 19, people on the New Deal programme and people with learning disabilities attend Woodville to undertake sheltered work activities. Woodville learners are encouraged to develop the skills, habit and structure of a successful working life.
The Centre Supervisor has overall day to day operational responsibility for staff management, organising work activity, learner discipline, site management and security.
You should have:
- at least 2 years experience of professional or personal land based or horticultural work and of supervising staff,
- excellent organisational skills, Health and Safety awareness and the ability to develop imaginative all year round work programmes.
- an appropriate qualification to at least Level 3.
Teaching qualifications, supervisory/ management qualifications and Health and Safety qualifications are desirable.
