Based at the Woking Road Depot, you will be required to manage a team of approximately 60 staff employed in the day to day borough-wide collection of all recyclable materials from both residents and commercial customers.

You must be able to demonstrate a full working knowledge of supervising a customer facing ‘operational’ style environment. Proven leadership skills together with an ability to supervise, motivate and support a range of staff will be required. Knowledge and experience of waste management services is desirable. You must have effective verbal and written communication skills with an ability to produce clear and accurate written correspondence and reports. A flexible approach to working hours is essential to ensure that all the needs of the service are fully met.
