It’s our aim to achieve high quality urban design, whilst respecting the history and heritage of our conservation areas. It’ll be up to you to find a balance between the two as you provide a comprehensive urban design, listed building and conservation architecture service to the Borough and our customers. This will involve evaluating the implications of planning applications and making recommendations. Along with a degree, relevant post-graduate diploma and professional membership of RIBA, you’ll have an extensive knowledge of listed buildings, conservation architecture and urban design issues. This will be matched with a sound understanding of engineering requirements and building regulations.
