Here at Swindon Borough Council we currently have an opportunity for a creative and innovative individual to lead the implementation of the Two Year Old Pilot Project, providing funded nursery education to Swindon’s most vulnerable 2-year olds.

An experienced project manager, you will lead the working party to develop the Swindon model and develop relationships with children’s centres, childcare providers and other key stakeholders in order to deliver improved outcomes for Children and their Families.

You will have a have a degree level qualification in childcare, education, social care or a health related discipline along with an ability to use Microsoft Office. With an excellent understanding of Children’s Centres and the Department of Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) guidance, you will also have experience of devising and implementing performance management strategies.

You will need to be able to access off site locations including childcare providers and Children’s Centres, and attend regional and national meetings as needed in a variety of locations. A CRB disclosure will also be required.
