This is a contract post, which will be responsible for assisting the Trees and Woodlands Officer in carrying out arboricultural duties relating to Council tree maintenance and planning issues, as well as the implementation of the Council’s Tree Strategy.
You will be undertaking surveys and inspections of Council trees, preparing work schedules for contractors and undertaking surveys for Tree Preservation Orders and working on a number of projects related to planning consultations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, computer literacy including knowledge of computerised mapping systems together with the ability to interpret plans is required for this post.
A clean driving license together with possession of a vehicle insured for business use is required for this post.
