Salary: Scale SO1 £24,646 -£26,276 p.a.
Stafford Borough Council is looking to appoint a new Tree Officer to fulfil its amenity tree protection duties.
You will need to have experience of Tree preservation Orders, ideally within a local authority, together with an appropriate qualification. The qualifications required are the QCF Certificate, Diploma or equivalent in arboriculture at Level 4. Accreditation under the Arboriculture Associations Accreditation for Local Government Officers Scheme (AALGO) will be an advantage.
The is a real opportunity to help shape the future of the service , as we are about to embark on a comprehensive review of our TPO’s , as well as our systems and procedures.
