This is a key post taking a lead role in the project management and co-ordination of the development of the third Local Transport Plan, ensuring the development of sustainable, robust and deliverable transport policies and strategies that meet local needs and reflect national policy.
You will need a degree in a relevant subject, or significant experience that demonstrates a thorough understanding of transportation issues. You will have strong project management skills, be able to meet deadlines and show knowledge in the area of strategic transport planning and policy making.
Good technical report writing and project management skills are essential.
