The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is part of the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC) Graduate Recruitment Scheme which aims to increase the numbers of high achieving graduates who become children and families social workers.
5 Trainee social work positions are available (RES/2053)
The scheme is open to all graduates and offers £15,000 a year to train as a social worker. It is targeted at those most likely to succeed, those willing to make a commitment to the borough and who we believe can contribute positively to the people of Tower Hamlets.
Entry criteria
To apply for the scheme you must:
1.Preferably hold a 2:1 degree or above, or an equivalent qualification
2.Have a GCSE grade C or above in mathematics and English, or an equivalent qualification
3.Not be currently employed in a social work/care environment
4.Not be obligated to take up employment with another social work/care employer following qualification
