Kingston may be, geographically, one of the smallest outer London Boroughs but it has one of the largest national retailing centres, a range of significant businesses for whom we are Home Authority and a vibrant night life. Kingston has a Magistrates Court, Crown Court, County Court, and one of the up and coming Universities.
Kingston may also be one of the smaller Trading Standards Departments, but we believe that we efficiently achieve significant results though regional, sub regional and joint working with other colleagues to cover a wide range of work including underage sales, major investigations into pricing and counterfeiting and Home Authority advice work along with enforcing a wide range of Trading Standards legislation through targeted inspection and complaint work.
We have a fixed term contract opportunity for 6 months for a DTS/DCA/DCATS (with Metrology) officer covering a range of projects as well as some inspection work. ThesStart date can be by arrangement but we are looking for this to start in Mid July 2010.
