An exciting opportunity has arisen to develop a new scheme which will provide informal Carers with peace of mind that their cared for person will be looked after in the event of an emergency which prevents them from carrying out their caring role.You will need experience of project managing and the ability to drive new procedures forward coupled with an understanding manner. You should be computer literate and be able to produce documents, happy to work with minimum supervision but aware of the need to keep people informed. You will have the scope to meet with a variety of organisations and also to work with Carers. You should have an understanding of Assessment procedures and how these relate to services. You must be enthusiastic with a knowledge of Carers’ issues and a willingness to negotiate at various levels.
This post is temporary for 12 months.
Satisfactory disclosure at the appropriate level under the Criminal Records Bureau is required prior to appointment.
#The salary is currently Sc6 and hours of work will be 18.5hrs per week worked in accordance with the Authority’s flexitime arrangements.
It is proposed that a new pay structure will be introduced on 1 September 2009 that will replace the current pay arrangements. The proposed grade for this post under the new structure is Grade 7 with a proposed salary of £16663 to £18937 per annum (pro rata).
If you are successful you will be appointed within the current grade but it is proposed that your salary will change to the new grade when the new pay structure is implemented on 1 September 2009.
