An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced individual with a good knowledge of Mental Health to play a crucial part in developing our workforce for the future.

The successful applicant will be required to establish and facilitate a programme of learning for all levels of operational staff including senior management within Mental Health.

An understanding of the skills and knowledge required within a mental health setting is essential due to the short timeframe of the project.

Directed by HR the task will be to establish a quality learning and development programme that supports managers to develop staff to meet the present and future needs of the service.

Knowledge of Mental Health is paramount with support and guidance being available on workforce development matters.

The post is an ideal opportunity for someone who is self motivated and manages projects with ease. The post will include meeting strict deadlines, communicating with different levels of the workforce, co-ordinating staff training, producing reports with an overall aim of creating an environment where services users receive high standards of care.
