Working as part of a team, you will contribute to the efficient and effective performance of the private sector housing team. Your activities will focus on responding to enquiries and complaints and carrying out investigations and inspections in respect of private sector housing activities, including housing assistance grants/loans and House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) licensing. You will ensure that appropriate action is taken in all cases and followed through to a satisfactory conclusion.
Ideally with a recognised qualification in a relevant field, you will be able to demonstrate a consistent and successful record in previous posts and you will have a sound knowledge of one or more aspects of construction technology and recognised office protocols. You will also be IT literate with good interpersonal skills, a flexible outlook and a full driving licence.
