Team Leader – Technical Support

Inclusive Salary range £22,776 Up To £25,201 p.a.

In this new role you will lead the team providing technical support for the delivery of a wide range of high quality and proactive administrative support services to the Development Management team to enable the successful delivery of a planning service. You will also provide up to date technical and general planning process advice and guidance to customers, colleagues and external agencies.

Educated to GCSE level, including Maths and English, or equivalent you will also be an excellent communicator with working knowledge of MS Office and work specific packages such as map based systems, Tridion, Civica, IPLAN and GIS software. An in-depth knowledge of IPLAN software is desirable.

Previous experience of the planning process including an understanding of the relevant legislation together with the ability to read plans and use a scale rule is essential for this post. In addition, previous experience of working within a customer services environment together with management experience is desirable for this key role.
