We are seeking enthusiastic Technical Officers to join our Health and Housing team. The section in which you will be working is busy and offers the right candidates the type of experience that can only be gained in a vibrant multicultural community such as Tower Hamlets. In order to progress the estimated 1500 licensable Houses in multiple occupation within the Borough we have a proactive and innovative programme to licensing and we are looking for Officers to take this approach forward.
For the Technical Officer posts you will have a sound knowledge of building construction, be HHSRS qualified and have some experience of private sector housing enforcement duties include the licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation. Good IT skills are required with ability to use CAD drawing systems desirable.
