South-East Integrated Learning Disability Team

We have a vacancy for a Team Manager to work in the South-East area of the Integrated Learning Disability Team, Disability Services. The Team Manager role will be to ensure that at an Operational level, Teams are maximising their potential and meeting Performance Indicators in Health and Social Care as an Integrated Service.

Monitoring service quality, maintaining a seamless service and promoting Best Value are also important attributes to the role. The Team Manager will be required to provide the Team with daily support, formal supervision and complete EPA’s (Employee Performance Assessment) or PDR (Personal Development Reviews).

We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for developing and supporting staff, an understanding of joint working and a commitment to promoting the rights and independence of adults with a learning disability. You will need to be a qualified Community LD Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Behaviour Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech & Language Therapist with post-qualifying experience of working with vulnerable adults.

Management of the Forensic Team currently falls within the remit of the South East Team Manager. Some experience working in a forensic setting as manager or practitioner although not essential, would be helpful in the line management of this service.
