Adult Social Care is undergoing significant transformation, with a focus on personalisation, prevention, choice and control, and greater partnership working. We have already achieved significant improvements in a number of key service areas and are presently recruiting to fill two key posts.

Safeguarding Adults Team Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated and flexible individual, with a qualified social work background, to join the Council as Team Manager – Adult Safeguarding. Although this post has its own distinct areas of responsibility there are also important links with other services. The Safeguarding Team supports and works closely with other front line Adult Social Care Service Teams and local Health Services.

You will work within a Council that has established a multi-agency partnership to lead ‘Safeguarding Adults’ work and has a zero-tolerance approach to abuse. This post offers an opportunity for an individual with broad experience in Adult Social Care Services and a successful track record, to further advance their career.
